Loki´s Laughter - Heathen Humor

wants to be the cliff from which you dive into the depths of the divine and terrifying gift of unchecked and silly laughter, 
specifically the laughter pertaining to Norse Heathenism/Asatru in all its guises. Feel free to participate, and come back to visit. 
If you don´t like the jokes we tell, outdo us and send us a real howler :) !

I´m as ready to laugh about myself as about anything else on Midgard and beyond. It simply feels good, and I think laughing is good medicine and an eye-opener to truths we often choose to ignore. It can even help one to think, which makes it a dangerous habit.

Both our ancestors and our Gods have quite a sense of humor: Take for example The Flyting of Loki, The Lay of Harbard, or the Swipdagsmal. So don´t take anything on these pages personal. It isn´t meant to be.

By their nature, jokes will tend to touch on taboos, laugh at and with certain subgroups and lifestyles, make fun of the gods and ourselves. 
I doubt there exists something like a politically correct joke. However, even in ribald joking there is something like good taste and fairness, and I´ll use my sense of humor and common sense not to display jokes that are too gross, macabre, obscene or bashing

If you´ve read so far there´s a good chance you too feel that it´s both possible to practice our faith seriously and make fun of ourselves
once in a while. So enjoy if you´re game, or leave in peace now, but don´t come complaining to me afterwards.
